Lewis Hamilton is co-hosting the 2025 Met Gala, which will focus on men’s fashion and Black
style. The theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” celebrates Black fashion and its history of
showing strength and identity.
Hamilton is working with other stars like Pharrell Williams and LeBron James to highlight Black
creativity in fashion. His role is important because he’s helping bring more attention to Black
voices in the fashion world.
For the event, Hamilton wore a special Burberry coat with designs that represent strength and resilience. Inside the coat, there’s a poem about Black endurance and beauty.
Hamilton also invited Black designers like Kenneth Nicholson, Edvin Thompson, and Jason
Rembert to show their work at the gala, supporting diversity in the industry.
By hosting the event, Hamilton is continuing his work to push for more inclusivity and inspire
others in fashion and beyond.
