India Strike on Pakistan-

What Happened?

On May 7, 2025, India launched missile attacks on 9 locations in Pakistan, including
Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
India says those places were terrorist camps.

  Why Did India Do This?

Because on April 22, a terrorist attack happened in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

  • Attackers were dressed like Indian soldiers.

  • They fired at Hindu pilgrims.

  • 26 people were killed and 17 were injured.

India believes the attackers were trained in Pakistan and wanted to send a strong message.

  What Exactly Did India Do?

   India:

  • Struck 9 terror camps inside Pakistan using missiles.

  • Said the targets were carefully chosen — no civilians harmed.

  • Took action quickly after the Kashmir attack.

  Other Steps by India

India didn’t stop at military action. It also:

  • Stopped water sharing with Pakistan (Indus Waters Treaty paused).

  • Banned Pakistani flights from using Indian airspace.

  • Stopped giving visas to Pakistani citizens.

  • Cut diplomatic ties — both countries called back their top diplomats.

What Did Pakistan Say?

   Pakistan:

  • Confirmed that missiles hit 6 places and 8 people died.

  • Said there were no terror camps — only innocent people harmed.

  • Called the attack wrong and unprovoked.

  • Warned that it may respond.

  Has This Happened Before?

Yes, many times. India and Pakistan have had a tense history, especially over Kashmir:

  • 1947, 1965, 1971 – Full wars.

  • 1999 – Kargil war.

  • 2001 – Indian Parliament attack.

  • 2008 – Mumbai terror attacks.

  • 2016 & 2019 – Surgical and airstrikes by India.

  • 2025 – Now again, after the Pahalgam attack.

  Why This Is Serious

  • Both countries have nuclear weapons.

  • Any big fight could become a major disaster.

  • The world — including the UN and global leaders — is asking both countries to stay calm and avoid war.

Final Thoughts

India says it had to act after innocent people were killed.
Pakistan says India attacked without proof.

Right now, things are very tense, but people on both sides hope for peace, not war.

Let’s all hope this situation gets solved through talks, not missiles.
