In May 2025, Northern Ireland will celebrate 80 years since VE Day — the day World War II ended in Europe. On May 8, 1945, Germany surrendered, and people across the UK and Europe celebrated the end of the war.
What Did Northern Ireland Do in the War?
During the war, Northern Ireland helped in many ways.
