Why This Project Was Started

The main goals of this project were:

  • To make the land green again

  • To reduce pollution and carbon in the air

  • To bring back animals and birds

  • To give local people jobs and income

Where It Happened

This project took place in [example: Satpura forest area in Madhya Pradesh], where the land had become dry and empty. Around 500 hectares of land were used for tree planting.

 Project Steps

The project was done in 3 parts:

  1. Planning (Jan – Mar):
Chose the place, tested the soil, and selected tree types.

  2. Planting (Apr – Jul):
Dug pits, planted saplings, and added protection.

  3. Caring (Aug onwards):
Watering, checking the plants, and removing weeds.

 Who Helped

Many groups and people joined hands:

  • Forest department

|A Real Story

“This land was dry earlier. Now I see green trees I planted with my own hands. I feel proud.” – Shyamlal, a local worker

 What’s Next?

  • Plant more trees in a bigger area

  • Teach farmers how to grow trees and crops together (agroforestry)

  • Add this project in schools for student learning

This project shows that small actions by many people can create big change. Planting trees not only helps the earth but also helps people live better lives.
